| Follow these steps to measure your ring size: | |
|
|
Cut a strip of paper about the width of the ring you wish to purchase and at least 3 to 4 inches long. |
|
|
Hold this strip around your finger to the tightness desired for the ring and mark where it meets with a pencil or pen. Note: If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger, you should measure the knuckle the same way and pick a size somewhere in between the two measurements. |
|
|
Measure the marked length of paper with a ruler and use either of the inch or metric (mm) Circumference columns in the chart below to find your US ring size. |
| Ring sizes in the United States (US) are based on a numbering system from 1 to 16 with 1/2 sizes in between. Folow these steps to convert your ring size from an International ring size to the US size: | |

|
One half size in the US system is roughly equivalent to one whole size in the British (UK) System which are measured by alphabetical letter A-Z. The sizes are also evenly spaced with 1/2 sizes in between. Use the UK column in the chart below to find your US ring size on the same row. |
|
|
European sizes are based on the inner circumference or diameter measurement of the ring in millimeters. The more general European system of ring sizes use the inner circumference (in mm) minus 40. Use the French, German, or Swiss column in the chart below and find your US ring size on the same row. |
|
|
Japanese (JP) sizes are also a numerical system based on the ring's inner diameter. One division being one third of a millimeter starting with size 1, at 13mm inside diameter. Use the Japanese column in the chart below and find your US ring size on the same row. |
|
|
The Russian and Ukrainian sizes are based on inner diameter of the ring in millimeters. Use the Russian and Ukrainian column in the chart below and find your US ring size on the same row. |
